About Me

If you came here looking for my contact information, check the page footer.

I’m just your regular Midwest transplant trying to hack it in Austin, TX. At home, I enjoy singing for my wife, dangling toys for my cats, nerding out about math/tech, and playing pick-up soccer in the neighborhood park. When the mood strikes, I also love donning my (poorly stitched) philosopher hat.

Professionally, I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-some techie. I have experience working on distributed computing systems. However, I’ve more recently been working toward a master’s degree (ORIE @ UT Austin) to pursue my passions of math modeling and optimization. I brand myself as a mix between a software developer and applied mathematician.
